Amsterdam Feels From 2013

This didn't happen yesterday, this didn't happen last week, this trip to Amsterdam with my lovely friend Subin was back in the year 2013. I have quite a lot I wanted to get off my chest lately but feel like I can't talk to anyone around me. I seen to foresee the judgement before it begins and I thought what better time then now to jumpstart my blog again. I won't promise to update frequently but I am sharing intimate adventures which are always fun to read and browse.

I'm been lurking the media realms on the internet for quite some time now and wanted to churn some content back into the world wide web.
Boarding the easyjet flight from London Gatwick airport to Amsterdam ^_^! Wheee even looking at these photos remind me of the thrill of traveling to a new destination!

Sorry in advance, Im pretty stiff from blogging, writing my thoughts or even creating coherent sentences. I've been for the most part inactive this past year and a half. But I'm trying to change so stay with me ;)

The Amsterdam Airport I believe, shouldve taken one of those touristy photos.. oh well next time :)!

I picked up this disposable in a boots at the airport.. but I actually don't know where this little camera ended up.. still on the hunt. Maybe it will turn up in the next few years :/

I think I arrived in Amsterdam before Su as she was coming in from Kingston! This is us being reunited at the Flying Pig hostel ^____^ <3

Celebratory pints and half pints, I don't know the difference tbh. I hardly ever drink.. so basically drinks on the table :)

I snagged an egg from the hostel breakfast and eating it with some Apple Cake at the gallery :P

I want one of these in my room. Surely this reflection will brighten your day :P

<3

Amsterdam's Flag is pretty sick. It really suits the capitals image.

Haha... I guess this was taken on one of nights out in Amsterdam by Su? I'm not 100% sure anymore but I found someone who had a matching shirt! When in doubt, dance it off.

Trying on a pair of boots by a legendary designer whos name I will come to link...

Passing by a beautiful restaurant as the sunset in the city. By now I was alone in the city as Subin has left to go back to Kingston. Solo Strolls :)
I forgot how to smile over the years :/ #gloomy#Selfie

Haha here is a cute lil birdy keeping my company while I wait for the bus in amsterdam. This is probably the start of my trip but I thought I'd stick it here because these moments remind me of london but replace that cute birdy with a club-toed pigeon. That sounds about right..

I also wanted to share this link which I discovered on my subscription to Emerald Street which ended up looping me over to a UK publication called Stylist.

Thats all I have to share for now! Take care everyone <3

That was me seducing you.

That was me seducing you.
It needs to be the other way around.

I re-watched The Black Swan tonight with friends and it was so much better this time. It didn't help that the first time I watched the film was on a 12 hour flight with my mom. If you guys haven't seen it, it includes lesbian sex, masturbation and graphic hang nail ripping (lovely). But it was the dialogue and emotion that got me.. The tension Natalie Portman portrayed in her face was so believable. I was completely immersed in the film and screaming at some points because I was frustrated with her (The Gentleman played by Vincent Cassel. Out of all the lines he had.. one really stood out. So I'm using it to describe how I felt while shooting Sasha. It's a seduction both ways, (although the shoot really wasn't as sexy as it looks). I filmed bits of our shooting for a future project but because I lost my Iphone recently... that won't ever be seen. Which really sucks cause Sasha played his role spectacularly well.

Be who you want to be not who you think you should be

If theres anything I've learned its to not pretend everything's alright when you know its not. It feels really good to vent even if I'm not sure who my audience exactly is.

I feel like a lost little girl in this respect. There are days where I just want to cuddle my teddy bear and reject every feeling/person/problem that comes my way.

love natalie then and now, forever

Playing around with selfies

Exactly what the title entales.

I took 2 espresso shots tonight to make it to a friends (kens) CNY dinner party and ended up with way too much energy.

I think apple's photobooth is probably my favourite camera ever. I like it more than my d90. It's so easy to use! <3

1 week till CNY

Heres to the perfect imperfect day that ended with my scarf being left behind (which I later found) and my phone (I never found) donated to a random passenger on the back of that black ford galaxy.

Thanks to Nikki H for the 2 snaps on brick lane!
& Kens friend outside that random ramen shop.

new year, new heart tattoo, new posts

It's been ages since my last post. I feel like I should probably stop starting my blog posts with these apologies as it sets me up to do it again and again. But I feel like today I have something special I want to share so it should be worth it.
I got this tattoo done in Brick Lane yesterday. It was pretty painful.. not going to lie. I had two done in one day, another one is behind my neck, an upside down triangle.

Any who I had a great time with my lovely flat mates nikki and ara eating cupcakes and strolling before engraving this heart onto my shoulder/collarbone. Then another sugar run with geri at Kahailia (totally wrong spelling) eating red velvet cake and coffee. We will be shooting together very soon so everyone will get to meet him :).

It's funny how many emotions can run through a person in a day.

Yesterday ended with 2 tattoos and a lost iPhone. I really hope that cab driver  is kind enough to of returned my phone, in the meantime I'll just stare at my new tatt and contemplate life.

The other tattoo in case you were wondering is.. whats on my sweatshirt but on my neck.

Celebrating my 100th post with Leomie

I would like everyone to meet this gorgeous-long legged girl who came to visit me over a week ago in at my home. If you haven't yet realised...this is Leomie Anderson. She's a model featured on Channel 4's The Model Agency, recent graduate and runs a personal fashion blog here: http://www.crackedchinacup.com.

Previous to shooting with Leomie I had a huge argument with my boyfriend, was stressed out about school and pretty much had a meltdown. It was one of those days where you didn't feel like being social, didn't want to see anyone and couldn't get on with it.

When the time came for Leomie to arrive, in the back of my mind I had hoped she wouldn't arrive. Not because of her but because I was in a hideous state.

Boy was I glad to meet Leomie. As I greeted her from my balcony waving her over to my flat, I could already feel my mood lifting. This girl has an infectious smile! She isn't afraid to say whats on her mind and made everyone around her (me & Simon) totally at ease.

Meeting with Leomie made me appreciate what I do and what I am studying. To be able to meet creative and open-minded people is one of the best parts of developing career. Its really these individuals that make it or break it.

I played around with these pictures drawing inspiration from Sunny days on the streets fused with chalk.
